began gymnastics at age 7 years old. She started at a dance school in the Bronx
called Bronx Dance Theater located on Fordham road in the Poe building. The school
was a dance school with gymnastics incorporated into the program. Her parents
saw her dedication for the sport and decided to put her into a club gymnastics
program in Manhattan . She continued to do dance and gymnastics up until highschool.
For highschool Ereina enrolled at John F Kennedy in the Bronx, NY which to her
delight had a gymnastics team , as well as enrolling in a gymnastic club ( Gym
Cats Yonkers, NY). Ereina competed both Highschool gymnastics and For the United
States Gymnastics Federation at the same time. In her Senior year , she transitioned
her career when she was recognized by a dance choreographer at her gym and wanted
Ereina to be a part of a movie she was working on called " Mannequin on the
Move " part 2. Ereina has taught in many studios and gyms worldwide bringing
her knowledge of dance and gymnastics together. She has also designed her own
style class which is called Flip-Hop ,which is a combination of both disciplines.
Ereina is now the Gymnastics Director for the Uptown Sports Complex as well
teaching her hiphop dance classes as well.

My
name is Elizabeth Rodriguez, the "gymnasts" know me as Liz. I have been
doing gymnastics for a little over 5 years and competed for 4 years, it is my
passion! I began instructing different levels of gymnastics at DeWitt Clinton
High school where I trained female gymnast from ages 13-18 and did my best at
helping them prepare for several competitions and becoming the best at what they
love!
I am currently a full student at Lehman College obtaining my passion

of my students. I proudly pass down my enthusiasm and dedication to the gymnasts
I teach allowing them to acquire and apply skills learned in the gymnastics setting
to their everyday lives. There is a time to have fun and a time to be serious
